MCXX. returns in 2024 with new album
MCXX. returns in 2024 with a vision to release as many songs as they see fit. These tracks will lead up to their sophomore full-length album i will always want you, with McKinney-Drew and Bennington credited as producers and Bennington also as mix engineer. The band currently states there will be five singles in support of the album’s release, predicted to be out in 2024.
The band is putting the final touches on the new album now. McKinney-Drew wrote and recorded the archive of songs while living in Japan for two and a half years.
The band then headed to Nashville, TN to start production in the studio with Green House Songs. They recorded 10 tracks over five days. “It’s an album of singles,” MCXX. asserted in an interview with WIUX radio.
“i will always want you is an album about the accumulated regret I acquired over my early-20’s. I keep looking back and realizing how I messed up some really good things for myself. I hate the contrary, it’s miserable,” McKinney-Drew stated.
On March 1, 2024 the band dropped a music video to their lead single ‘free somewhere’.
The band is made up of synthesist Levi Bennington, guitarist Vincent Charles, vocalist/guitarist Adam McKinney-Drew, and drummer Josh Varab.
